Facts
The Family Care Network is the largest private therapeutic foster care provider between Santa Clara and Ventura Counties, having certified 260 foster families in the last 20 years.
The Family Care Network currently operates five Therapeutic Foster Care programs; all of which are designed to be solution-focused, strength-based, needs-driven, community-centered and culturally competent, utilizing “Best Practices” and “Wraparound” elements. Agency foster parents are specially trained to provide the best possible care for children/youth with high needs. The agency’s foster care programs not only assist the children/youth being served, but they are also designed to continually provide foster parents with excellent support, compensation, training and agency accountability.
Therapeutic Foster Care
In the agency’s 20+ year history it has taken a leading role in developing and implementing therapeutic foster care services to children and youth needing out-of-home care.
Since the agency’s inception in 1987, the agency has served over 2,200 children in Therapeutic Foster Care with 87% of all program days purchased having a successful outcome.
The agency understands the importance of providing foster children stable, nurturing and loving homes as a short-term intervention until they can be safely reunited with their biological family or transitioned into a permanent placement.
