Become a Foster Parent

The Family Care Network currently operates five Therapeutic Foster Care programs; all of which
are designed to be solution-focused, strength-based, needs-driven, community-centered and
culturally competent, utilizing “Best Practices” and “Wraparound” elements. Agency foster parents
are specially trained to provide the best possible care for children/youth with high needs. The
agency’s foster care programs not only assist the children/youth being served, but they are also
designed to continually provide foster parents with excellent support, compensation, training and
agency accountability.

Therapeutic Foster Care

  • In the agency’s 20+ year history it has taken a leading role in developing and implementing
therapeutic foster care services to children and youth needing out-of-home care.
  • Since the agency’s inception in 1987, the agency has served over 2,200 children in
Therapeutic Foster Care with 87% of all program days purchased having a successful
    outcome.
  • The agency understands the importance of providing foster children stable, nurturing and
loving homes as a short-term intervention until they can be safely reunited with their
biological family or transitioned into a permanent placement.
