Project Management Internship


The Project Management Intern assists the CRD Coordinator in managing various aspects of FCNI’s annual holiday gift drive (Sponsor a Child), in addition to event planning for at least one of FCNI’s events. This is a paid internship that is eligible for college credit.

  • Business, Marketing, Communications, and Recreation majors preferred
  • 2 quarter required commitment (3 quarters preferred)
    • Must be able to work during normal business hours, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
    • 12-15 hours per week
  • Must be able to create and maintain accurate records
  • Pass a thorough screening process which includes:
    • Interview, 4 reference checks (at least 1 of these must be a recent or past employer)
    • Agreement to policies on confidentiality, child abuse reporting, activity safety and more
    • Live Scan (Fingerprinting), and a Child Abuse Index, Criminal Record Affidavit
    • Health/Drug Screen, TB Test
    • DMV printout of driving record
  • Assist with all aspects of managing Sponsor a Child, including wish list processing, community outreach, gift processing, wrapping and distribution
  • Organize donated gifts to ensure wishes are fulfilled and appropriate
  • Record sponsor's contact information and maintain conversations with community partners throughout the duration of the project
  • Complete other duties as assigned
