For informational purposes, we provide a link to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Open Payments website. The federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires that detailed information about payments or other transfers of value over ten dollars ($10) from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics to physicians and teaching hospitals be publicly available. The Open Payments database allows you to search for payments made by drug and device companies to healthcare providers and institutions. You can access it at openpaymentsdata.cms.gov.
